Reynolds National Center for Courts and Media
About Donald W. Reynolds National Center for Courts and Media

The Donald W. Reynolds National Center for Courts and Media is located on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno. Our facility was built in 1999 and houses The National Judicial College and a state-of-the-art courtroom used for training.

The Center was formed to foster discussion about the inherent tensions between the right to a fair trial, as guaranteed in the Sixth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, and the First Amendment right of the free press to conduct its work largely unfettered by governmental restrictions.

The Center is a forum for ongoing dialogue, while also conducting concentrated research and providing a variety of programs on court/media relationships.
